Test Knitters Wanted – Riverrun Shawl

While the late summer sun was still warming my patio a few days ago, I took the first snapshots of my latest shawl design “Riverrun”. The name is – as you probably guessed – taken from the Game of Thrones series. I think the mosaic edge looks a bit like swirling water and I deliberately chose the wonderful blue-green Malabrigo Mechita yarn in my favorite Malabrigo colorway Teal Feather for an even more water-y appearance. Test Knitters Wanted – Serenity


Admittedly, I have been on a shawl knitting spree in the last few months and more designs are coming up very soon. But of course vintage sweaters are still my one true love. Over the summer I have been working on two lovely designs and I am very excited to put the first one up for test knitting today.
